All-School Convo Brings Students Together
The 2016 Homecoming all-school convo brought together students from all of the divisions in one exciting afternoon.

On October 28, Berkeley held its 2016 Homecoming all-school convo. This all-school convo was a success, celebrating fall athletics, student progress this school year, and offering a preview of what the rest of the year will look like for the Berkeley Buccaneers.

WE HAVE SPIRIT, HOW ’BOUT YOU? They might be small, but the Lower Division’s enthusiasm filled the Straz Family Fieldhouse at Friday’s Pep Rally. Though the Spirit Stick ultimately went to Middle Division, the youngsters gave the annual competition their all.

MD CHEERLEADERS DANCE US INTO A GREAT WEEKEND: Their audience sat captivated, as the Middle Division Cheerleaders performed classic BPS cheers with spirit and grace. The girls punctuated their dance routine with flawless stunts, preparing the Armada for a cheerful weekend.

BATTLE OF THE BUCS: Sarah Roth ’17, Isabella Monticciolo ’17, Marissa Maddalon ’17 and Tristan Facenda-Kerswill ’17 anxiously watch the Battle of the Bucs. Sarah played a key role in the Scavenger Hunt exercise, as she brought multiple objects to the center of the Doyle Gymnasium at Mr. Van Treese’s request.

RUNNING TO VICTORY: Leo Ochoa ’17, Ryan Shear ’18 and Gaby Fraifer ’18 sport their cross-country spirit wear. The Boys’ Cross Country Team will be attending their state competition on November 5th, where their stamina will be put to the test.
