Hallway Chronicles: Max Kreisler
Max Kreisler ’14 is an active member of Model United Nations and History Bowl, and was an instrumental part of this year’s JV “B” Basketball team’s success, posting their best record in years. I was fortunate enough to be able to sit down with Max and talk to him about his senior year.
Q: What has been your favorite part of senior year?
A: Definitely being able to go off campus for lunch.
Q: What is your favorite class this year and why?
A: Microbiology with Mrs. DeWeese because it’s a very hands-on class with all-labs, taught in a college lab environment where I’m given opportunities that many other high school students don’t have.
Q: What are you looking forward to most in college?
A: The freedom and independence of college life and being able to meet many people of different backgrounds.
A: You are widely regarded as one of the funniest (if not the funniest) kids in your grade. Where do you get your humor from?
Q: It runs in my family. My brother was really funny, and some of his humor passed on to me.
Q: Have you decided what major you’re interested in pursuing?
A: Something related with political sciences, economics, government, law.
Q: Do you have any advice for underclassmen?
A: Work hard, play hard.
Q: What has been the most difficult part of senior year?
A: It hasn’t been very difficult but waiting for college decisions [was] by far been the most stressful part.
Max’s outgoing personality are sure to help him in college at University of Michigan next year, and we wish him the best of luck in all his endeavors!
