Spaceman Comes To Berkeley

Berkeley Prep gets a visit from a former NASA engineer and astronaut.

The renowned engineer and former NASA astronaut Michael J. Massimino graced Berkeley with his presence on Friday Jan. 13, 2017. After earning an undergraduate degree in engineering from Columbia University, Massimino continued his education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1990 to gain three degrees in technology, policy and mechanical engineering. After applying multiple times, Massimo was selected for two space missions to work with the Hubble Space Telescope. Massimino gave an inspiring presentation to follow your dreams and never give up.
