On Jan. 11 the annual Berkeley sidewalk chalk drawing contest, headed by visual arts teacher Terrie Forester, took place. Participants in this year’s food-themed contest included sophomores, juniors and seniors.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Juliette Saylor ‘19, participating in her first year of the competition, completes her drawing of a pink grapefruit with time to spare. Saylor said that the hardest part of the drawing was “getting the colors just right.”
