FORBIDDEN LOVE: In this scene, Anna Karenina, played by Sophia Vasiloudes ’22, shares a passionate moment with the man she had an affair with, Count Alexei Kirillovich Vronsky, played by Michael Ross ’25.

OPENING SCENES: Seryozha, the child of Anna Karenina, played by Robyn Pilecki ’22, opens the play hauntingly fiddling with a toy train, foreshadowing the death of her mother.

LAST EMBRACE: Seryozha, played by Robyn Pilecki ’22, shares a goodbye hug with her mother, Anna Karenina, in this scene played by Sophia Vasiloudes ’22, underneath the clock tower.

CREATIVE COSTUMES: Cayley Rogers ’22 (from left), Robyn Pilecki ’22, Mercy Roberts ’23 and Lea Testeil ’22 show the contrast between the extravagant and simplistic costumes that coexist throughout the play.

MOTHERLY INSTINCTS: Anna Karenina, in this scene played by Lea Testeil ’22, has her arms protectively wrapped around Seryozha, played by Robyn Pilecki ’22.
