Meet Jennifer Isaacs!

Jenifer Isaacs discusses her new role as an Academic Dean

Naomi Parker and Maddie Dean

Please welcome one of our newest members to the Berkeley faculty Jennifer Isaacs! She is a new academic dean for 9th and 10th grade and a UD math teacher. Though Isaacs has taught math in the previous years, becoming an Academic Dean is a new role for her.

“Applying for this position was an opportunity to kind of explore a different side of education for me,” Isaacs said.

She has an undergraduate degree in applied math and German studies from Brown University, and her graduate degree is a Master of Arts in teaching, focusing on secondary math from a UNC campus in North Carolina.

Isaacs’s daughter Cloe is currently in seventh grade at Berkeley, with her two other sons James and Luke attending different schools. Outside of Berkeley, Isaacs enjoys playing the piano and the violin, as well as running.

NEW OCCUPATION: Jenifer Isaacs is ready to tackle her new role as an Academic Dean with the support of her husband Russell and her 3 children Chloe (12-years-old), James (10-years-old) and Luke (7-years-old).

Isaacs finds the Berkeley community to be very welcoming, and she is looking forward to “getting to know the students better and helping students reach their individual potential” said Issacs.
