Brio Tuscan Grille – A less formal and less expensive restaurant.

Brio is significantly different from the other restaurants previously mentioned. Brio is far less expensive and has a more semi-formal etiquette. Being a Tuscan-themed restaurant, the options range from flatbread pizzas, to pastas to grilled salmon. Brio has a four-star rating out of 192 reviews, making it a top contender for a place to take your date to Homecoming. Dishes will cost you $11-$30 on average. Boca – A casual restaurant with affordable choices.

When picking a restaurant for pre-Homecoming dinner, Boca is one of my favorites. Located conveniently in Hyde Park, Boca has a “farm to table” approach when choosing their ingredients for their meals. With the best local ingredients, a fresh produce market inside of the restaurant, and 80s music playing in the background, Boca will make for an enjoyable evening. Dishes start as casual as a burger and fried green tomatoes, and all are guaranteed to be delicious. An average dish is from $11-$30, and Yelp reviews give this a four-star rating from 571 reviews. Boca opens at 11 a.m. so you’ll have plenty of time to eat.
